Amelia Franklin recently graduated with a degree in environmental science with a concentration in geospatial technology, and will soon be working in this challenging and increasingly needed field. With a background in graphics design and a knack for all things environmental science, Amelia is made for this position!
We spent the afternoon walking around Norfolk taking headshots to update her professional resume. I had a blast listening to her nerd about what it takes to work in geospatial technology, how the industry has changed throughout the years, and all the different types of jobs you can do with this degree. Amelia is incredibly talented, a beautiful blend of an artisan and a scientist, with one of the kindest hearts I’ve met! I can’t wait to hear about the cool projects she will be working on.
We started the session taking photos in the Chrysler Museum garden– the light was PERFECT at this time of day. We walked to a nearby neighborhood and fantasized about living in each of the cute homes. Close to those homes was a bridge that was also begging to be in the background. I love the variety of background Norfolk gives you!
